I just learned a while ago that quality content alone can’t get your site to rank high on the search engine result pages. You need to do SEO and link building, too, as the right mixture between SEO and content creation can get your site up high in major search engines.
If you are doing link building right now, you might arrive at a conclusion that link building is either time consuming or expensive. Well, the truth is not far from what you conclude; doing link building only leave you with 2 choices:
To DIY it (but it would take a long time to start seeing results) or outsource it to SEO Specialists (but it would cost you a fortune to see real results.)
I am DIY my SEO and link building campaigns (with occasional outsourcing part of the process) at the moment, but I start to think to hire an SEO Specialist for two reasons:
- My link building is not effective as I’m struggling to juggle site building activities – I wish I could have more than 24/7.
- Even if I have the time, I don’t have the knowledge to do more advanced and more effective link building processes.
Now, hiring full time SEO Specialist will cost you a certain amount of money, widely ranged from tens of dollars to thousands or dollars a month, depending on the scale of SEO and link building services you need, and also depending on the experience level of the Specialist.
Should I hire SEO Specialist, too?
The cliche answer is: It depends on your situation.
As of for me, I want to build an online business empire consisting of money-making sites and web assets – so I do need all the help available to make my vision becoming a reality.
Going frugal is good, especially in your early stages of webpreneurship. But there will be time when you need to budget part of your web business’ income to hire those who can get the job done for you – you don’t want to create a job, after all; you want to create a business, and a business is called so if you can leverage resources for your and your business benefit.
One suggestion: You must budget to hire others NOW. Saying, “I’ll do this later” or “I’ll do this when I have the money to do so” means you won’t do hire or outsource, at all – forever. This is “ideal” if you want a job or a business in which you have total control in it, but if you are like me, you would want your involvement in money making activities reduced and your income increased.
So, there you go – one solution to step further into webpreneurship is by hiring an SEO Specialist. A final advice: Just make sure you hire the right one offering you the best value for your money.
